Gwent

#1
Prior to the last Gwent update (Tuesday I think it was), I was running Gwent great through Porting Kit (thank you!!). I updated Gwent through the GOG client after the patch dropped, and every time I would load the game, it would get stuck on the CD Projekt Red intro screen. I tried reopening it several times, closing the client, repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling, all with the same result.

I then tried uninstalling completely through Porting Kit and reinstalling. However, I now can’t get GOG to load. At the end of the install, it says that essential components are missing. I’m sure I’m following the same procedure as before. Any ideas?

I need to have a look into it. Hopefully this week, if after that still nothing, remind me again Wink

Thank you so much Paul ! It worked very well, suceeded to install and all but I am still stuck on the logo of CD Red project… I read somewhere that I could solved them by changing the window version of wine configu to window XP but in this case I cannot launch anything … Any ideas how to solve that ?

Thanks in advance !

Hello guys, first of all thank you Paul for your work Smile but I have the exact same issue than @kevin , I''m stuck on CDPR logo when launching Gwent

I also try to change my windows version (XP, 7, 8, 10, etc) but it didn''t work.. I hope there will be a work around !

Cheers Smile

I need to check it out myself in that case as well. Can someone try to do the winetrick directx9 into the port? Click more --> wineskin settings --> launch wineskin --> advanced --> tools --> winetricks --> select directx9 (dlls) --> run winetrick --> close wineskin and try again.
