Which kind of bugs do you had? Wouldn''t be better to help the developers of Corsixth and report the bugs?

#4
no i mean the newer versions wont compile on my mac version.older ones have a dmg but not the newer ones and the newer ones have homebrew installer which is very messy and difficult to get rid of once installed.so i wanted to use the wine version if it.ryt now the dosbox version working fine through wine but i would love to use corsixth so any help is appreciated to get it up and running

Someone posted a dmg of the latest version (v0.60) in one of the issues.

In fact, Homebrew has an uninstall command.

Recompiling it would be better for two reasons:
1. Usually apps compiled natively have a more immersive experience;
2. Wine should be used as a last resource. Games compiled natively should be encouraged, or we gonna have even less games build for macOS, and in times when DirectX 11 is becoming more and more used this is a very bad thing.
