Settlers 4 Software 3D Graphics Interface Error

Hi,

I can't really post anywhere else and can't seem to find a solution to my problem, so I am trying here.

I am trying to play Settlers 4.

The installation went fine (as described in Porting Kit with game from GOG) but when launching, I get the error "Software/hardware 3D: Error initializing Graphic Interface" - this has been a known issue since around 2011 (for Windows) and although work-arounds seem possible, I haven't been able to get them to work on my Mac with M1 graphics (Porting Kit says the game is tested for Mac M1).

What do I need to do in order to play?

Same for me - I get the 

fixme:d3delect_card_handler Couldn't find a suitable card selector for GL vendor 0000 (using GL_RENDERER "Apple M2 Max")


Trying to run it with the current version on mac m2 max GOG game version of settlers 4 gold edition

Tried also with the current version of crossover but same result 

made a post on reddit also

Was able to make it worked

paulthetal <paulthetall@proton.me> dropped me an email with a suggestion to reinstall the app

and to use a external display

so in order to play i connected a external monitor and set macos to clone the input - than it worked

Yep, for Macbook pro's it only works with external monitor.
