Age of Empires II DE problem

Hi, thanks all for Porting Kit great work!

I'm using PK to play AOE2 from a couple of months. Yesterday (30/6), after a game upgrade, it stop launching. The green play button at steam turns blue, and after a few seconds it returns to green.

Running PK Versión 5.13.8 (5.13.8) on Mac Os Monterrey 12.6.3 (21G419)

I'm having the exact same problem with Ventura 13.5, Porting Kit 5.13.8. The game will launch for few seconds on Steam. Game window won't launch actually but the indicator button on Steam changes for few seconds as OP stated.

I think it first occurred a couple months ago, but I got it fixed with MacOS Beta software update (I don't remember exact version), with version today, the issue is back.

I updated the port with the latest Engine available with a dxvk fix wich might fix the issue. Can you retry installing the port (delete old one first and do a "kill all processes" action as well using tools in the top bar.

I have the same issue: AOE2 doesn't run. I have installed/removed/installed 3 times. I have also tried running it from the Steam port (this one: https://www.portingkit.com/game/422). It doesn't work. The issues are two-fold: 1) when I click to run the game the game doesn't run (even after removing the "movies" folder). It just becomes green and back to blue; 2) when I close wine, the installation I just did refuses to run again, so to run steam again I have to reinstall.

Not sure what else to try tbh, but happy to try and help here.
