Can't link to Steam account on latest PK6

#1
I wonder if anyone has a suggestion - I would love to link my Steam account with the new version of PK. It worked fine for my GOG account, but for some reason whenever I try to link with Steam I keep getting an error message with invalid user name...yes my Steam profile is public, yes I checked & triple checked I'm putting the right user name & yes I even tried my Steam email (several times) just in case, but no joy!
Has anyone else had my problem, if so did you succeed...?

I reported it to our developer, he is looking into it.

I'm having the same issue. My Steam account is public, but upon typing my username in, it immediately gives me an invalid username error.

Yeah the exact same as me - the PK team are aware and working on it though, so hopefully we'll be connecting to Steam real soon Smile

Will be fixed in the new update which gets released tonight with a bunch of other fixes as well. Take an eye out on the blog for the new update.

Thanks for all the hard work, I'm sure it's a 24/7 job getting everything sorted and very much appreciated Smile

Sadly I'm still getting the same "invalid ID" message when I try to sign in to Steam after updating to the latest version of PK, so the recent update has not sorted the Steam issue for me.

Maybe the next update will do the trick? I would like the option to integrate my Steam account with PK, so hoping it will happen in future sometime...

I was having the same problem and I tried putting in the full URL like this: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/yourProfileID/  (I can't remember if I had the https:// or not).

It then worked but I'm only seeing around 8 games (which seems low for my 179 game library, but maybe that's right).

Steam integratation still has bugs, I don't really like the steam integration (I do love the GOG one though), but others do, so its there. If it were only me, I just would stick to the "Steam" Source tab. There all Steam games supported in Porting Kit are shown.

Bit of a late response but thanks for posting this...I did copy and paste my full ID URL and now see the titles/names of my Steam games, just no icons. Good luck find the rest your games.

Yeah the GOG integration's working great for me, and thanks for the heads up for sticking to the Steam source tab
