Considering that the game has a good result in the CrossOver database, I would recommend you to follow their forum instructions using the latest CrossOver engine. With the latest PK you can create a clean wrapper, so you can use it to install the game and then the winetricks, which can install the dependencies it talks about.

Can you please elaborate your answer. So I can follow those steps. Thanks. Sorry if I am asking a lot.

No problem. This is what you have to do:
1- Open the Porting Kit and update it to the latest version
2- Go to the Library tab, then select ''Server''
3- Select the first port of the list (''New Custom Port'')
4- Call the port ''Fieldrunners 2'', and select the ''Install Steam'' option if that is the one you have
5- Select the latest CrossOver engine has the port engine (in the moment it is WS9WineCX15.0.1)
6- Start the port creation and then wait until PK finishes
7- The port requires the d3dx9 winetrick (DirectX9), so install it
8- The port requires VC Run and .NET too. Since we don''t know which VC Run and .NET versions you have to install, do the following:
8.1- Install the game in the port and let it run
8.2- Steam will start to install the dependencies, and you will see their names; write them down
8.3- The game probably won''t work, so close it (unless it works, then we you can stop here)
8.4- Depending of the dependencies, you will install different winetricks, like the following:
8.4.1- If the game requires VC Run 2008, you will install the vcrun2008 winetrick
8.4.2- If the game requires .NET 3.5, you will install the dotnet35 winetrick
8.5- Trash the created port and back to step 3, but this time install the three winetricks on step 7 and skip step 8
9- Run the game and check if it works
10- If it don''t, perform a Debug and post the Debug logs here

That should work, but I cannot be certain since I don''t have the game to test it.

Hey, I am using Mac Book Pro. I followed your step but I made one mistake I didn''t made any environment for winetrick and it got installed somewhere and now I am getting errors like dotnet20 already there. Is there anyway to remove all things installed from winetricks. Thanks. I need to install Microsoft DirectX, .Net Framework 3.5, 4.0 and Visual C++ Redistributable Package. Right Now I have installed these somewhere using command: winetricks d3dx9 and dotnet35. Please tell me how to remove all these where it got installed. I installed winetricks using

$ brew winetriks

$ winetricks list-installed
d3dx9
d3dx9_26
d3dx9_28
d3dx9_31
d3dx9_35
d3dx9_36
d3dx9_39
d3dx9_42
d3dx9_43
dotnet20
dotnet30

$ winetricks dotnet45
Executing w_do_call dotnet45
------------------------------------------------------
error: dotnet45 conflicts with dotnet20, which is already installed.

Remove the created wrapper and start a new one. That''s the best solution. One more thing: you need to install the msxml3 winetrick before the .NET one.

A backtrace hardly useful. Do a Debug using the Porting Kit instead. Just right click the game and press Debug.

I have attached the two file which I got on running the Debug.

Which winetricks did you installed in that wrapper?
